If you’re like me you’re already planning what to read for the upcoming holidays and/or Fall and Winter seasons. For today, my planning is all things Halloween!
I love to read cozy mysteries and other books that take place over Halloween. For this reason, I keep a list of books that I continually add to.
I thought I would share some cozies that are not part of a paranormal series. These can be harder to spot.
Here are some books I have read – and enjoyed – in the past. The links are to GoodReads in case you want more info:
- Boston Scream Murder (Deputy Donut Mystery #4) by Ginger Bolton
- Digging Up the Remains (A Garden Squad Mystery #3) by Julie Henry
- The Diva Haunts the House (A Domestic Diva Mystery #5) by Krista Davis
- No Parm No Foul (Grilled Cheese Mysteries #2) by Linda Reilly
- Deadly Brew (Dewberry Farm Mysteries #3) by Karen MacInerney
- The Spook in the Stacks (Lighthouse Library Mystery #4) by Eva Gates
- Spooky Sweet (Samantha Sweet #11) by Connie Shelton
- Halloween Cupcake Murder (Irish Village Mystery 9.5) by Carlene O’Connor – note this contains three stories. One by Carlene O’Connor, one by Carol J. Perry, and Liz Ireland. I don’t remember at this moment if Perry and Ireland’s stories take part in a paranomal world of their making, since it normally doesn’t matter to me. I am an avid reader of paranomal cozies 🙂
- The Root of All Evil (Hope Street Church #4) by Ellery Adams
- The Black Cat Sees His Shadow (A Bad Luck Cat Crossing #3) by Kay Finch
I will sharing more books set at or around Halloween, along with other holiday/seasonal choices over the next weeks.
I am trying to figure out what I want to be reading.
What’s on your list? I would love to know!
